Though it doesn't benefit from the river, a group of those would be nice in the beginning of a game. Would that kind of tile benefit from a levee?

That is really cool. It must have something to do with the map generation code. As the front page said, it must be the generator trying to make the map balanced and kinda screwing it up.
@Previous poster: It says that the tile is not riverside, which means it probably couldn't have a levee on it. |
