Since wonders seem to be spread around the city perimeter my guess would be that it is some sort of science related world wonder...

it has an observatory, i'm presuming that one dude that started the science vs religion during the renaissance and avoided prosecution and exile... forgot his name, I think it's corpurnish or something.

...I don't know. I'm kinda have my doubts about CiV. It will either be a game I like that's going to be better than CIV, or It's gonna be a "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" game.
