Civilization IV: Colonization is a re-imagining of the classic Colonization strategy game Sid Meier created in 1994, It is a total conversion of the Civilization IV engine into a game experience in which players will lead a European nation on their quest to colonize and thrive in the New World. Civilization Revolution is a title in the Sid Meier's Civilization series designed exclusively for consoles: the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and Nintendo DS. As with Civ4, this game designed by Firaxis Games and published by 2K Games.

In this version, gameplay is streamlined and incoporates elements from previous Civilization games as well as new features. In particular, the interface has been redone with consoles in mind, and micromanagement has been reduced too. Games are intended to last only a few hours and can even be played in one sitting. Additionally, there is a Game of the Week competition run by Firaxis that features a new map every Sunday which the community can play individually to compare results.

The game came out June 13th, 2008 in Europe and July 8th, 2008 in the United States.

Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword is the second expansion pack for the award-winning Civilization IV. The expansion pack was first announced on March 28th, 2007 and is developed by Firaxis Games.

The game came out in the United States on July 25th, 2007.

The expansion focuses on the late-game time periods after the invention of gunpowder and delivers 12 challenging and decidedly different scenarios created by the development team at Firaxis Games, as well as members of the Civilization Fan Community. Sid Meier's Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword will also include ten new civilizations, 16 new leaders, five new wonders, and a variety of new units that will offer even more fun and exciting ways for players to expand their civilization’s power as they strive for world domination.
