New York City
"This is a fun, challenging map, all the Civs have strong starting locations (if you chose to play with the startups not randomized) and there is plenty of space for good city sites. If you want to conquer the world on this one you better be prepared for a long fight." Author: Tony (aka Narz) |

Multiplayer Map
"Simply speaking, this is an excellent map to test your skills against a human opponent. The starting position is equal (for the Romans, Egyptians, Chinese and Mongols) although the continents are varied and the computer Civs starts are varied. I’ve used this one a few times on Game Ranger." Author: Tony (aka Narz) |

Big War World
This is a normal sized map with mostly land, ideal for a multiplayer game. I call in BigWarWorld because I believe since everyone is probably gonna be on the same continent it is more ideal for war than peace although a happy trip to Alpha Centuri is still entirely possible. Four players (Romans, Germans, Babylonians and Americans) get an equal start with three resorce grasslands, four non-resorce grasslands, three plains, four hills, two forests and four water squares. There are no resorces in any of these for the four Civs mentioned above (unless you randomize starting positions and resorce sqaures). Author: Tony (aka Narz) |

Map of Italy
This is an Italian map hand made by Prometheus_TS. It is not very precise, but it is well done. Spanish civilization is for Samnites, Babylonian for Etruscans, Persians for Cartagenians, Sioux for Ligures and Vikings for Celts. Author: Prometheus_TS |

DuckOfFlander’s World Map
"I have cut of all land beneath and above 70° northern & southern (so no south or north pole (never been very inhabited after all). The accuracy of this map is wonderful. My choice in surface tiles was dependent on elevation’s and current city’s in that neighborhood." Author: Pieter Verhaeghe |
