Civ6 Leader Pass: Great Negotiators Livestream on November 17, 11 AM PT

The first of the DLC packs of the new Civ6 Leader Pass, the “Great Negotiators” pack, will be livestreamed, tomorrow November 17 on 11 AM Pacific Time (2 PM Eastern Time, 8 PM CET). The live stream will show this first pack with Abraham Lincoln, and will be hosted by our most beloved Mr. Kevin, dressed as Abraham Lincoln, together with Carl Harrison and Ed Beach.

Old World’s Soundtrack nominated for a grammy, and another additional nomination for Christopher Tin

The Recording Company has published this year’s nominationy for the Grammy awards. This year is the first time that prices will be awarded in the new category of best video game soundtrack. So far, the only video game title to win a Grammy is Christopher Tin’s “Baba Yetu”, the Civ4 main theme, and the related album “Calling All Dawns”.

Maybe surprising, maybe not, the soundtrack for “Old World” is in this year’s nominee list (official announcement; article by IGN).

In addition to this, the new album by Christopher Tin, “The Lost Birds“, is nominated as best classical compendium.

We are very happy to hear these news, and would like to congratulate the team!

Mohawk Games, the developers of Old World, have released the latest update for their game. This update includes a range of bug fixes, improvements to the AI, and more.

Old World is currently available in the Epic Store, on GOG and Steam.

Humankind: Together We Rule expansion released

Amplitude, the developers of Humankind, have released its first expansion: Together We Rule.

This expansion brings a wide range of new features, as e.g. stated in the announcement:

  • Embassies: Form stronger ties with other empires and access cooperative treaties, like mutual access to Emblematic Units.
  • Agents: A new class of units that can serve as diplomats or hidden agents that will perform certain actions as siphoning districts or tracking armies.
  • The Congress of Humankind: Vote on globally enacted laws and resolve conflicts through diplomatic pressure.
  • New Cultures: Sumerians, Hans, Bulgarians, Swiss, Scots and Singaporeans

The new expansion can be purchased on Steam, the Epic Store and the Microsoft store, right now with a 10% discount, $17.99 instead of $19.99.

At the same time G4F records has released a new album with the soundtrack for the expansion, which can also be listened for free on various services.
