At the same time we also still have the GOTM #133 running. There you play as Lady Six Sky of the Maya on a standard size lakes map on Immortal level. There are some adjustments like legendary start, a low water level, but you have a disaster intensity of 3 and you need to go for Science victory while all other victories are still enabled. You have until May 15 to obliterate everyone else.

TurnBasedLovers have released a new video (see above) with the most interesting turn-based releases for May. In their list they also have Old World, the latest game of Soren Johnson, which already has been released, but will come to GOG and Steam on May 19.
Other interesting games in this month’s selection are Magna Graecia, a turn-based city builder, and Songs Of Conquest, which is similar to Heroes of Might and Magic. Other releases this month are more RPG-focused, but worth having a look at the video.

The indie hit “Dorfromantik” has reached its final release today.
This game is a pure building game, where you strive to build the most beautiful and efficient landscape. You use hex tiles to expand your current map, and solve little quests to gain more tiles for further expansion. The game has overall been described as very relaxing. It might be good for us to get some distraction from all the conquering ;).
Dorfromantik is available on GOG, Steam and Gamesplanet for normally 12.99€, but is currently available for 9.09€.

Various balancing changes and bug fixes are included, as well as an option to export the time line as a gif.

StarDocks latest title in the “Galactic Civilizations” series has been released today.
The 4th part continues the series: It is a 4X (yet not turn-based) strategy game in space. As in other parts of the series to set out to conquer the galaxy, settle new planets, conduct diplomacy with aliens, and try to achieve one of multiple victory conditions.
